Pricing Analytic ToolboxSM Patent Application
Pittsburgh, PA, USA (October 2007) - Pittsburgh Technology Licensing Corp., an affiliate of
WeatherWise USA, Inc.®, announces the filing of a US Patent application for Pricing Analytic
ToolboxSM, an advanced database method that enables computer end users to perform
large database calculations with minimal effort. Computer users, through menus and flow chart-like drag and drop items,
can structure complicated database calculations. These calculations can be tested on one account, and then applied
to numerous accounts or across the entire database.
Pricing Analytic ToolboxSM is designed to facilitate
large calculations for financial institutions and rates and billing in utilities. This software enables rapid visualization
of statistical outcomes of the calculations across sets of accounts. "For example, rate analysts using this technology can
rapidly set-up, run and compare two different rate calculations and see the impact on an individual group of consumers, such
as low income, versus the entire database", states Andy Meyer, Vice President of Operations. "All this can be done without
a programmer."
When the final rates are selected and approved, this technology presents the analyst calculations
in a flowchart suitable for programmers, virtually eliminating analyst-programmer miscommunications.

Windows® platform and is available for installation on company systems under license from Pittsburgh Technology Licensing
